We gather Sundays at 10 am for singing, prayers, biblical teaching, Communion and to encourage one another to live out our faith. Whether you are a seeker, a long-time follower of Jesus, or a skeptic, you are welcome here.
LOCATION: North Langley Community Church - 24687 56 Ave, Langley
The Ash Wednesday service is designed to help bring us to a recognition of the greatness of God, while at the same time bringing us face to face with our own humanity. Recognizing our own mortality, and the reality and effect of our sin, we are then brought to a deepening understanding of our need for Jesus.
Throughout the season of Lent, we are setting aside Wednesday nights for rest in the presence of God. During Lent, we join our prayers with the psalmist who prayed:
"Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." Psalm 139.23-24
The desire to be 'searched' by God is anchored in the confident belief that He will meet us right where we're at. It is with great anticipation that we invite Jesus to the deepest places of our lives, believing that his searching, trying, and telling is always unto everlasting life.
Join us on Wednesday nights in Lent for a time of worship, scripture reflection, and prayer. It is our prayer that, as we gather on these nights, the Lord would do beautiful, restorative things, preparing our hearts to more fully enter into the journey of Holy Week and the celebrations of Resurrection Sunday!
