Dear beloved in Christ, Alleluia! Christ is risen! Come and join us this Easter Sunday as we celebrate the world-changing news at the heart of our faith: Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. Our Gospel reading will be from John 20:1–10, a passage that draws us into the wonder and mystery of that first Easter morning. In the sermon, we’ll reflect on how the story begins “while it was still dark” but turns soon to the story of the stone rolled away. The light of resurrection was dawning, even before the disciples knew its full glory. And in that dawn, death was undone, sin shattered, and the grave broken open—not just for Jesus, but for all who follow Him. Christ is risen—bodily, gloriously, and forever—and with Him, He brings the promise of new creation. Come worship, and bring your hearts—whether joyful or heavy—to the place where light has broken into the world. Let us rejoice together in the triumph of our risen Lord. Alleluia! Christ is risen!
