Dear friends,
I want to invite you to join us for worship this Sunday as we conclude our journey through the book of Habakkuk. We’ll be looking at one of the most powerful moments in all of Scripture—when the prophet, faced with national crisis and personal uncertainty, makes the bold declaration: “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord.” If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by what’s happening in the world or in your own life, this message will help you discover how to walk with steady feet—like the hind on the heights—by anchoring your joy and strength in the God who never fails.
At a recent Men's Breakfast Buzz Denroche shared a concept from one of Steven Covey's books about our Circle of Concern and our Circle of Influence. Although familiar with the concept, I had not thought about it for a long time. I have not stopped thinking about it since that breakfast! These two circles play an important part in Habakkuk's life and experience. I'll be sharing how on Sunday and how understanding these two circles can help for you.
I’d love to see you there,
Fr Ken
