Beloved Church Family,
This week, I again invite you to join us under the open sky for a special time of worship outdoors at A Rocha. There’s something powerful about gathering in God’s creation to share in His Word and at His Table. Together we will break bread, lift our prayers, and stand as a visible reminder that our hope is not in the kingdoms of this world, but in Christ alone.
I’m looking forward to opening the Scriptures with you as we continue through Habakkuk. This Sunday’s sermon will walk us through God’s answer to injustice and corruption: the five “woes” declared over Babylon — words that still speak to the spirit of greed, violence, exploitation, and false religion in our world today. In Habakkuk’s day and in ours, the Lord exposes evil, calls it to account, and invites the righteous to live by faith no matter how dark the times seem.
Come ready to worship, to receive the bread and the cup, and to be strengthened by the hope that our God sees all things, judges all evil, and calls us to stand firm as His faithful people.
Let’s worship together — outdoors, around His table, under His promises.
See you there!
Grace and peace,
Fr Ken
